Emma comes to National Sawdust with a deep love for community-driven new work. After her most recent role as Artistic Director of the Tank NYC, an inclusive Non-Profit Arts Presenter, Emma is thrilled to continue her creative exploration and contribution as Artistic Planning Manager with National Sawdust. Emma is the creator and co-producer of Folkure, a monthly music series built to develop new work in an open environment. She has co-created and produced several ongoing festivals such as Young Gotham Arts Festival, Pride Fest, and the Dark Festival. Emma is a Brooklyn-based singer-songwriter hailing from the Maritimes on the east coast of Canada. She can’t resist kicking her shoes off, tapping her toes and singing along!
