National Sawdust Mission

We believe that music can be a powerful tool for bringing people together and changing the world for the better, especially new music being written by living artists today. As a mission based nonprofit organization, National Sawdust is dedicated to supporting living artists and helping audiences find more of the music you love. As a nonprofit, we rely on donations from generous individuals to cover the bulk of our costs, which lets us offer tickets at much lower prices than would be possible in a commercial venue. Artistic Support

Artists have vision and drive, but to truly make an impact, they need the resources to bring their ideas to fruition. That’s where we come in: By providing artists with rehearsal and performance space, financial support, technical and marketing assistance, we give them the materials they need to hone their work and create music that is changing society for the better.

Curation

In an age of unprecedented access to music from every place and time, finding new music you’ll like can be an overwhelming task. Algorithms help a little, but there’s nothing like the expert guidance of a knowledgeable human curator to give you the highest-quality recommendations. We have an entire roster of expert curators who not only help emerging artists find their niche but also help audiences find more of the music you’ll love.
