Building on their workshop performance at May’s Pioneer Festival, Polish composer and vocalist Agata Zubel – “one of Europe’s most accomplished and internationally successful contemporary classical composers and vocalists” (New York Times) – reunites with Avery Fisher Prize-winning cellist Jeffrey Zeigler, formerly of the Kronos Quartet, for a multimedia collaboration with Ashley “Robi” Robicheaux. A performing artist and choreographer working in dance, theatre, and film, Robicheaux is an originating cast member of Third Rail Project’s The Grand Paradise and the artistic director of Ashley Robicheaux & Artists, a new platform for movement exploration and interdisciplinary collaboration.
