About the Show
Lady Moon & The Eclipse, the Brooklyn-based multicultural collective known for its soaring vocal textures and R&B influences, celebrates the coming solar eclipse with an uplifting concert, recognizing the celestial alignment of the Sun, Earth, & Moon, and consequently aligning the mind, body, and soul. The concert will also feature Niambi Ra & The Blackstarz, local artists who also embody music of enlightenment.

Lady Moon & The Eclipse is a journey to the cosmic soul. Through soaring vocal textures and R&B/afrobeat-influenced rhythms, the Brooklyn based multi-cultural collective create inspirational music to explore the cosmic soul; a journey to become one’s best self.
Lady Moon carries the essence of the Moon, delivering a message of love, peace, and light, while the musicians serve as the Sun shining light upon her. The audience represents the Earth, completing the metaphorical eclipse. With a marked emphasis on inclusivity and spiritual unity, Lady Moon & The Eclipse build positive music through the live experience to grow and make a difference in themselves and in the world.
Lady Moon & The Eclipse released their debut EP, “Believe” available on CD and online, and are currently working on a full length for 2018.
Niambi Ra & The Blackstarz
A native of Uptown DC, NIAMBI grew up listening to the likes of Marvin Gaye, John Coltrane, Chaka Khan, Natalie Cole, Prince, even Hip-Hop pioneers A Tribe Called Quest. She begin performing at the age of 3 and writing and producing her own music in high school, while attending the Duke Ellington School of the Arts.
NIAMBI masterfully moves between the genres of soul, R&B, Jazz and Hip-Hop as she delivers a uniquely distinctive musical experience. Her musical influences range from legends, such as Ella Fitzgerald and Sara Vaughn, to contemporary songstresses Lauryn Hill, Jill Scott and Erykah Badu.
