Ensemble ACJW concludes its three-concert residency at National Sawdust with Connections, a program that features all 18 2014–2016 ACJW fellows. Through this program of works by composers encountered by ACJW over the last two years—as well as a world premiere by ACJW alums Brad and Doug Balliett—the concert honors the fellows’ unique connections to audiences, communities, and each other. It also looks forward to the excitement and sense of adventure that the musicians will bring to the wider world as they embark on careers as innovative artists, dedicated teachers, and advocates for their art form.
