ALT Alumni: Composers & Librettists in Concert features work of alumni of American Lyric Theater’s Composer Librettist Development Program (CLDP), the only full time training program for emerging operatic writers in the country. The CLDP has been the nucleus of ALT’s mission to bring “New opera to new audiences” since its inception in 2007, and has gone on to cultivate the success of American opera’s most innovative and exciting contemporary voices.
