The Ribbon Project
The Ribbon Project is a work by Paola Prestini, with words by poet Brenda Shaughnessy, and visuals by Anne Patterson. The work is part of Mass Re-imaginings, a commission by Choir of Trinity Wall Street, that weaves loosely around female experience as a spiritual and corporeal heart, a crux: one of passion and suffering and great love and connection. Visually, twenty miles of ribbon will interact with the space, carrying prayers, dreams, and wishes of people skyward. This work will be workshopped at National Sawdust in August 2016.
